“Why would I want you to leave?”

Seeing her cry almost made me forget about a nigga shooting at me.

I reached for her and sat her down on my lap.

“I’m so sorry.” She apologized as I wiped her tears and more replaced the ones that dried against my hand. “I’m so–”

I kissed her; slow and steady. I could taste her tears as I sucked her bottom lip that was still trembling. I took off her coat and threw it on the sofa against the wall in my bedroom, all without breaking the kiss. I thought to myself why or how I could feel so strongly for a woman that I hadn’t even felt on my dick. No matter how much dope I pushed or guns I toted, that feeling scared the fuck out of me. Her eyes looked questionably at nothing as she reluctantly lifted her leg to assist me in removing her boots and then her pants.

“I’ll be back. Okay?” Sitting there in a bra and panties, Jasmine took my breath away. It was so hard for me to even look in her eyes.
